A rack power distribution unit is what brings mains power into a check-out rack and distributes it, protected, metered and isolatable. The family comprises a single-line and a dual-line version with two independent sections and separate instrumentation.

Both carry front-panel input and output voltage and current metering, per-group breakers and an emergency stop — what separates a bench safety device from a reinforced power strip, and the reason this item is not bought from a catalogue for a check-out rack. The dual line covers cases where the bench must feed two electrical domains that must not communicate, or keep one load in service while the other is isolated.

The same family has been integrated into different EGSE systems. IN SY TO owns the full cycle: design, engineering, production, integration.
