RF switch matrix for a check-out bench

A 19" rack RF switch matrix with settable attenuation and local or remote operation. Component responsibility: design, hardware integration, software and AIT.

Matrix front panel: per-line status indicators, two alphanumeric displays showing configuration and set attenuation, local/remote switch
Internal view: control board, interface connectors and coaxial harness on the drawer’s upper deck
Radio-frequency switching plate: passive components, terminations and coaxial paths laid out on two stacked decks

A unit that routes and attenuates radio-frequency paths inside a check-out chain, for the programme of a European space prime contractor. Its purpose is to remove manual re-cabling between one test configuration and the next — which in an AIT campaign is not a convenience but a reliability measure, since every connector moved by hand is a potential fault introduced between two measurements.

The front panel carries per-line status indicators, two alphanumeric displays showing configuration and set attenuation, and a local/remote switch. IN SY TO held component responsibility.
