LVDS interface chassis for an on-board memory unit, with clean-room harness

A drawer bringing out the LVDS interfaces of an on-board mass-memory unit, with the matching harness built for clean-room use. Support to CE certification of the complete unit, not of the drawer alone.

Drawer open on the bench: power supply, terminal blocks and internal harness folded along the base, with the terminations brought out to the panel
Drawer panel: power output and input, differential line connectors grouped by destination, and the board control socket

A 19" drawer that brings out the LVDS interfaces — Low Voltage Differential Signaling, the differential transmission used where speed and low emission are needed — of a flight mass-memory and data formatting unit, for a European space prime contractor.

The delivery includes the external harness built for clean-room use: a constraint that dictates materials, treatment and cleanliness before it dictates the wiring diagram, and the reason such a harness is built rather than bought.

The scope extends beyond the delivered item: IN SY TO provided support to CE certification of the whole memory unit, that is, worked on the technical file of a system of which it supplied one part.

Role
