What it covers

Covers preventive and corrective maintenance of delivered systems: maintenance plan, spares and integrated logistic support, call-out interventions, periodic overhaul, revalidation of the interfaces after a change to the unit under test. It is the phase that stays with the system for its service life, and the only one with no single handover but a continuity.

What it leaves behind

It leaves the maintenance plan, the intervention log with restoration times, the recommended spares list, and revalidation reports after every substantial intervention.

Where it ends, where the next one starts

It begins after acceptance and has no end of its own: it lasts as long as the system is in service. When an intervention changes performance or interfaces it is no longer maintenance, it is a new design cycle, and it is reopened as one.

After delivery

Maintenance does not appear among the “Work performed” entries, and not because it is not carried out: those lines describe the supply up to acceptance, and this capability begins where they end. On delivered systems, corrective maintenance for defects found remains in place; at the customer’s request, preventive maintenance during operational service — plan, intervals, spares and scheduled checks — and evolutive maintenance can be activated. Its perimeter is therefore all 26 programmes in the index, not a selected subset of them. The specific evidence — which systems are covered, under what regimes and with what restoration times — is in the contracts, and those are not published.
